The pie shows the share of estimated monthly searches within the imported, measured AnswerThePublic questions. It is a sample of U.S. online search questions, not a share of all searches or a count of questions asked on AI platforms. The wording shown is exactly as imported; similar phrasings remain separate.

This board reports observed AI outputs and co-occurring citations. It does not claim to know a model’s hidden ranking factors.
Compare ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity to see which gives stable recommendations, searches the live web, and provides useful sources.
See how the AI platforms behave differently.
The first measure tells us whether an engine keeps recommending the same top practice. The second tells us whether it searched the live web before answering.
Why can one engine appear twice? These cards show the winner of three different measurements—not three different engines. One engine can lead more than one measurement.
Longer bars mean the behavior occurred more often in our repeated tests.
Practice and clinic websites have their own source view. We use verified records, checked websites, and cited page titles to find brand-name practices. Sites identified by signals alone remain marked “Likely practice website” until reviewed. Directories, Google, insurers and publishers stay in the other source views. A citation is not itself a practice recommendation.

Citation frequency is direct output evidence. It does not prove that a source caused a recommendation.

AI-discovered names begin as candidates. A person verifies them before they become trusted market records.
Compare the selected market’s practice roster with current NPPES names, addresses, phones and orthodontic taxonomy. No match is linked until you approve it.
NPPES is authoritative evidence that an NPI record exists; it does not prove that two similarly named businesses are identical. Accepted matches retain the NPI, source page, taxonomy, address, phone and verification date.
